Reiki in the Tetons

Tap into your innate healing ability through the ancient art of Reiki, or Universal Life Force Energy. We are all gifted with the power to heal ourselves and provide healing energy for other beings. With the help of a Reiki master, you can awaken this ability within and become certified in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing. During the summer and early fall, I offer training outdoors near the spiritually rich Teton Range.

Each course includes written materials, lecture, discussion, practice with feedback and a certificate of completion. Courses taught outside include a hike or kayak ride to a picturesque location (within the fitness level of all participants). Click here for more information about Reiki Outdoor Adventures.

“When I first experienced the benefits of Reiki, I knew Laura would be an excellent practitioner to study with. Her personal and confident manner created a fun learning experience, and Laura also found an idyllic outdoor setting that helped me appreciate the connection we all have to the concepts taught through Reiki. Thanks Laura!” ~ Randy Spears

“The training provided instruction and skills useful in my own practice, but what was a surprise was the healing and awareness gained for my own personal growth and needs. Two birds, one stone – Yea! Thank You!”  ~ Francine Bartlett, Excel Physical Therapy

Intro to Reiki ~ This mini-Reiki I course focuses on self-healing. You will receive an overview of the history of Reiki, its principles and the chakra energetic system; learn self-healing techniques and energy flow exercises; and become attuned to further open your energetic system and to be able to more strongly give and receive energetic healing. (2-hour class)

Reiki I ~ Discover how to provide noninvasive, holistic healing energy to yourself and others. In this introduction to Reiki energy practice, you will learn about the chakras, the history of Reiki, the suggested Reiki hand placements and how to give a complete Reiki treatment. In addition, you will receive your first Reiki symbol and attunement, an initiation connecting you to an unlimited source of healing energy. (1/2 day training; exclusively one-on-one training)

Reiki II ~ Within Reiki II, you will review Reiki I and receive training and symbols for mental and emotional healing as well as distance healing. After delving deeper into Reiki practice and gathering helpful feedback, you will be attuned. Your certification as a Reiki Practitioner qualifies you to practice Reiki on others. (1/2 day training; prerequisite: my Intro to Reiki class or Reiki I)

Reiki III (Reiki Master Teacher) ~ After a review of Reiki I and II, you will study visualization healing techniques; practice and receive feedback; and learn how to use the Reiki grid. You will also receive the Master Symbols. Suggestions will be provided about the practical issues, monetary ethics and responsibilities of becoming a Reiki Teacher.
